We advised Veolia’s partnership with PPA to turn Pickleball into the first Green Sport in the US

The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour represents the pinnacle of pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in the United States, boasting over 9 million regular players and 48 million occasional players, surpassing tennis in popularity.

The Sport Investment Studio served as the exclusive advisor to Veolia in securing a transformative partnership with the PPA Tour, positioning Veolia as its sole sustainability partner. This collaboration is set to elevate the PPA Tour as the first green sport initiative in the U.S., underpinned by Triple Zero ambitions (zero waste, zero carbon, zero inequality) and expanded community engagement efforts.

Through this three-year partnership, Veolia will enhance its visibility across key U.S. cities, including Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and Phoenix, while supporting the Tour with sustainable innovations. Key initiatives include improving waste management, increasing recycling, introducing sustainable water refill stations, and optimizing the environmental impact of PPA events.

Aligned with Veolia’s mission to drive environmental sustainability across industries, this partnership not only redefines the future of pickleball but also sets a precedent for integrating sustainability into sports.
